Christmas: a time for presents, joy, laughter and Satan. Hang on, is that last one right? Well, yes, according to the living legend that is Mr Christopher Lee.
The 92-year-old actor has teased his third metal Christmas release, following on from versions of Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night in 2012 and the US no.18 hit Jingle Hell in 2013. This yuletide release is entitled Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing, and is a version of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, with new lyrics including, "Glory to the metal kings".
"At my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy. I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans" said Lee.
Jingle Hell saw him become the oldest performer in history to have charted on Billboard - will he beat his own record this year? We wouldn't bet against it.
