This woven shoe trend is starting to get out of hand.
Following in the footsteps of adidas and Nike's recently revealed knitted football boots, Converse are now spinning their own yarn of woolen footwear.
The Pro Leather Hi 'Aran Sweater' is the result of a collaboration between Converse and Concepts, a head-turning retail brand based Cambridge, Massachusetts. The upper portion of the Pro Leather really is a cable knit wool/acrylic blend - taking its queue from Concepts' Aran cable knit sweaters, named after the Irish island the wool is sourced from. While the heel is rubber, wearers should probably avoid any rain, puddles or British weather.
A limited run of the collaboration will be available from Concepts online store on 15 March.
