He's widely acknowledged as one of the key pioneers of scratching - and now the legendary DJ QBert is breaking new ground again with the world's first interactive album packaging.
The vinyl version of his new album Extraterrestria - his first for 15 years - comes with an incredible 12 inch card insert which uses printed MIDI technology, provided by Novalia, to create a fully-functional DJ controller. By touching particular 'buttons' on the insert, the user can remotely control the djay app on iOS via bluetooth.
There's a crossfader, cue buttons and jog wheels - check out the phenomenal video below to see it in action.
The whole thing was funded via Kickstarter, with QBert receiving $128,000 to realise the idea; we'd say it was definitely worth it. It's unclear whether just backers will be able to get the vinyl - but for more information, head to QBert's website.
