No, it's not a photography trick. While it might look like the latest Viper is constantly cruising at 150mph, it's not actually moving. We asked and everything.
You're looking at (and probably dribbling over) Chrysler's Street and Racing Technology's dream machine: the 2014 2014 SRT Viper GTS - Anodized Carbon Edition: Time Attack Group - a car that'll vanish over the horizon before you finish saying its excessive title.
The SRT group will be unleashing 50 of these Anodized Carbon Editions on the unsuspecting roads of the US; each boasting a Metallic Matte Black exterior which is probably more expensive than the car you learnt to drive in. Ten of these monsters will receive the Time Attack Group track package, swapping out the chassis of the standard car for a carbon fibre areo kit - a lightweight makeover that removes around 150kg and helps the car hug the road the faster it goes.
If that doesn't sound like a trouser-ruining challenge we don't know what does. Finer stats and costs are yet to be announced, but we're sure both the speed and price tag will raise your heart rate.
