

At approximately 11:03 this morning, astronaut Tim Peake became the eighth Briton to journey into the stars, after the successful launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Peake will become the first Briton to live aboard the International Space Station, serving on a six-month science mission in the station's lab.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron was among those who tuned in to watch Peake's departure from Earth, issuing the following tweet from his official account...
Yes, this is Tim Peake's moment. No, we're not looking to belittle the astronaut's achievements. But this was a Photoshopping opportunity too good to turn down.
