Tyrone Lebon is just 32-years-old, yet aired his first film for MTV at 18, shot for i-D magazine the next year and is now one of the world’s leading fashion photographers. Who better then to make a 30 minute behind-the-scenes film about the world of photography?
Reely and Truly follows over 20 snappers, documenting their lives and work. Lebon has tracked down big names in art, fashion and news photography, following his subjects all over the world. We see Juergen Teller shooting Nicolas Ghesquiere’s first ad campaign for Louis Vuitton, Nobuyoshi Araki in a Tokyo dive bar and Sean Vegezzi breaking into a downtown Manhattan skyscraper.
For a truly unique, and quite moving, insight into the creative minds behind the pictures that document the world we live in you can watch the full film at here and for a taster, watch the trailer below.
