"Super surprise announcement Batman, you’re about to star in a new game!?"
Swooping out of the night like their eponymous hero, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have just announced that Batman: Arkham Knight will arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
The third and final part of Rocksteady Studios’ Arkham series (they didn’t have a hand in Origins) the game follows the action of Arkham City and sees Batman take on a posse of villains including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn (a playable character for those who pre-order the title), all headed up by The Scarecrow.
More tantalising still, the studio have released an announcement trailer (sans gameplay) that debuts a new Batmobile – which we’ll finally be able to drive.
