Forget caped crusaders: America may have just found the crime-fighting hero it needs, and it comes in the shape of a beanie-wearing news reporter.
KIMT-TV broadcaster Adam Sallet was reporting live on a robbery at the Stirling Street Bank in Rochester, Minnesota, when a bank employee ran up to him and pointed to the unseen criminal, saying "It's that guy right there".
“Oh, that’s the robber,” the clearly shocked journalist says to the studio, before leaping into action. “I gotta go here, call 911. I’ll talk to you later.”
Sadly, the camera wasn't turned round - most likely because multi-tasking Adam was operating his own camera as well as doing the report. What a guy.
36-year-old Ryan Liskow, the alleged villain, was later caught by police as he tried to make his getaway.
