Architects illustrated in the style of their buildings

If we asked you to draw a house we'd probably get a primary school staple of square structure, square windows, triangle roof and chimney. This lack of imagination is why we haven't asked you to design our new extension. Sorry.

What we really need is an architect - an individual with the ability to add character to a building, making it more than a roof over our heads.

The creative flair of the the world's most talented architects has been captured once more by Federico Babina in Archiportrait - a series that uses an architect's signature style to create Cubist portraits.

From an angular Norman Foster to a sloping Antoni Gaudí, Babina's ability to hide buildings in the lines of a face is quite something.

Head over to his site to view the entire series or head to his society6 store to pick up a print.
