Anthony Joshua Revives FCUK FEAR

Heavyweight boxers aren’t generally scaredy cats. Especially not Olympic gold medal-winning heavyweight boxers. Which is almost certainly why French Connection have picked Anthony Joshua – he of London 2012 success – to be the brand ambassador for their revived FCUK FEAR range.

The label, which recently brought the collection back, launches a series of pop-up shops in its Regent Street and Oxford Street London stores this week. Prices start from £15.00 for a vest, which other items include hoodies, t-shirts, shorts and caps. All items are also available online.

Joshua is not the first Olympic champion boxer to front the range, as Lennox Lewis was the face of FCUK FEAR in 1999. The Watford-based fighter aims to emulate the one-time undisputed heavyweight world champion this Saturday (11th October) as he takes on Russia’s Denis Bakhtov at the O2 in London. Both fighters will be contesting for the vacant WBC title. Don’t expect either of them to be cowering in the corner.

The FCUK FEAR collection is available now on www.frenchconnection.com.
