"What's your favourite film?" isn't a question with a short answer. There's the formal version (naming some art house classic from a little-known foreign director that'll win you snob points), an honest version (that awful B-movie you've got on DVD three times) and then, about ten minutes after the initial asking, a string of other titles you'd forgotten about.
On the next occasion you're asked, we recommend turning to the music video for Cruisr's All Over as a useful reference point. A beautiful animated piece, the three minute montage takes you through a catalogue of iconic cinema characters and events. No genre is skipped, with Oscar-winning giants sitting alongside Pixar classics. We would ask you to try naming them all, but we don't want to distract you for the rest of the afternoon.
Created by Chris Carboni, Elaine Lee and Matt Everton, we're not altogether sure why Cruisr commissioned the video, given the song's lack of cinematic content - but we're glad they did all the same.
