FINALLY, you can own the Optimus Prime of the sea.
The Kormaran is a seven meter-long bullet-shaped speedboat that does more than just zip about the marina looking cool. In fact, it’s a shapeshifting monster that you can easily imagine being owned by the ultimate Bond villain.
This interactive demonstration shows you how the Kormaran morphs from a single-hulled boat to a katamaran, a trimaran, a luxurious floating sunlounger and, finally, a super-fast hydrofoil.
We can’t find out how much it costs (though it’s hardly likely to be described as ‘a snip’, let’s face it), but we do know that its three engines give a top speed of 38kn (44mph), exactly half the speed you'd need to have a time-travelling speedboat (though we're sure they're working on that right now).
