Portuguese giants Benfica scored a breathtaking team effort in a 2-0 win against local rivals Sporting Lisbon last night - starting with a beautiful piece of solo skill from Eduardo Slavio, a deft one-two and then a lovely volley from Lima, it's got to be up there for goal of the season.
As if this wasn't enough continental flair, on the same weekend a goalkeeper nutmegged a striker in Sweden and Thiago Silva produced a physics-defying shot (which unfortunately didn't count, but never mind) for PSG. Suddenly we're really dreading the end of the season.
