From what we can remember, 8-bit games were amazing. But then, perhaps our recollections aren't necessarily what they should be?
It's a question that could concern the protagonists of the classic 2004 Michel Gondry-directed movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which is the latest title to be lovingly recreated as an 8-bit videogame by the Dutton Brothers at Cinefix.
It's a full four minute walk-through the film, which featured an all-star ensemble cast, as well as a truly excellent soundtrack, which has been MIDI-fied beautifully; it's reminded us what amazing tunes Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime and Mr Blue Sky are, so we've included those for your listening pleasure below as well (we know it was a Beck cover in the movie, but the original's the best isn't it?).
May you eternally enjoy this spotless recreation.
