Unveiled alongside the Echo Show 8 in September, the Echo Dot with clock is barely a couple months old and Amazon is already discounting it pretty majorly.
As part of Amazon’s Black Friday sale, which takes place from 22-29 November, the retailer is cutting prices across its own Amazon Alexa devices.
The Echo Dot with clock now has 42% off its usual price of £59.99, bring the price down to a pretty decent £34.99.
This all-new Echo Dot has an LED display that can show the time, temperature and timers across the front of the device.
We reckon it would look great on any bedside table - you can ask it to set an alarm and then simply tap the top to snooze when you decide to ignore it.
The light sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness so it’s not going to keep you awake or be invisible in bright sunlight.
It’ll also do everything else you’d expect from a smart speaker so, it will read the news, play music and control your Hive thermostat for you.
