We miss our teenager years. Yes, we had to put up with skin producing more oil than a BP drilling disaster, and school was a formative nightmare, but we had so much time to spend playing video games.

It's games like Destiny that cause this jealousy to pique. Developed by Halo creators Bungie, early talk has been of a vast, galaxy-filling game, allowing you to play in a team, go solo, complete missions or just shoot each other - it promises to be a vast melting pot of your favourite video game moments.

"We’re creating a world you’ll want to visit again and again, and it will evolve and change right alongside you," Bungie’s Community Manager DeeJ told the PlayStation Blog. "We’re going to fill it up with activities that we think will satisfy a lot of different types of players, or even the different moods you have."

This latest gameplay trailer hints at the variety on show. Spaceships, pretty space explosions, and space magic. We can't wait - but we're going to have to, because it's not out until the summer of 2014.
