There are so many reasons to watch the latest Gamescom trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins: the Batcave; the Batwing; Firefly; slow motion Batman. It's all here.

Following the hugely successful Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Arkham Origins is (unsurprisingly) a tale of beginnings. Set several years before the first two instalments, Origins features a younger, unrefined Bruce Wayne, combating the initial rise of some of Gotham City's most deadly criminals. The Black Mask has put a price on the Bat's head, attracting a host of impossibly cool assassins, all vying to put a knife/bullet/fist between the Dark Knight's eyes.

We've already become giddily excited about Arkham Origin's multiplayer features, but this trailer has successfully dragged our attention back to the jaw-dropping campaign. The 25th October can't come around quickly enough...
