See that? It’s a Boris Bike on steroids.
Or rather that’s probably the first thought that will enter our minds should we ever see the Easy E-Bike racing through our city streets in the near future, further heralding the rise of the smart bike.
Clearly, this bulky beauty from the mind of designer Kasper Jensen goes against the grain by giving us a frame more in line with a motor car than the skinny framework associated with its e-bike brethren. Any more hulk to this clever cycle - which we hope will become a reality very soon - and the manufacturer would probably need to add an air bag and power-assisted steering.
As it is, the tech mod-cons of this neat concept can be found on the top of its sturdy monocoque frame, housing an integrated touchscreen mounted before the handlebars and providing users with information including battery life and GPS location.
Which might come in handy should you accidentally get carried away and end up on an Autobahn.
