As we approach the World Cup, it's only right that we are reminded of one of the tournament greats: the enormous-legged Brazilian left-back Roberto Carlos.

He was famous for scoring outrageous goals, and a Carlos-esque effort was put in recently by Fernando Guerro, playing for Independiente Jose Teran in his home country of Ecuador.

Picking up the ball from a loose pass by the corner flag, he somehow manages to get the ball in, despite having an angle of about 3 degrees to aim for. A similar Carlos effort is below - take a look and see which one you think is best.
