Robbie Savage's Guilty Pleasures

Robbie Savage has made the progression from combative, and often controversial, Premier League and International footballer to respected - and often controversial - broadcaster with aplomb. Never shy in expressing an opinion, he's shone a light on many hitherto unexplored aspects of the game through his appearances on Radio 5 and Match of the Day.

We caught up with Robbie to find out his guilty pleasures in life; those things that you wouldn't necessarily expect him to enjoy. Step this way for James Bond, interior design and jungle fever...

MOVIE

"James Bond I suppose. I've got all the James Bond films - every one...all the gadgets, all the cars. When I've got nothing to do, I go downstairs in my own little cinema and watch James Bond. Live and Let Die and Moonraker -with Jaws with the big teeth - those are my favourite. The Lotus that went under the water was the best car."

MUSIC

"I like Michael Jackson. I went to see Thriller in London, and my favourite song was Beat It. I like them all to be fair - Dirty Diana too, that's good. My karaoke song would be Simply The Best!"

FOOD

"I love prawns pil pil. Everytime I go on holiday it's prawns, sizzling prawns, loads of garlic, loads of oil, loads of chilli. I've overdosed - I've had severe heartburn afterwards! You have to wash it down with a nice glass of Rioja."

TV

"I like I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! - I do love it. I thought Joey Essex would win it - I think he's hilarious. I didn't think the line up was that great this year to be fair, but he makes me laugh. The ones who annoy me are the ones who go in there and crying on the first day; you're getting paid a fortune and you know what you're gonna be doing, and all of sudden, the first day, they start crying. They really annoy me when they know what they're gonna be put into!"

MAGAZINE

"I love Living - you know the house book. It's interiors, I'm into that, I like that. My dream house layout? The one I'm in now! All white, grey and glass."

APP

"Twitter app is my guilty pleasure. I just go bezerk on Twitter, too much, it's addictive actually, my wife tells me off. The funny thing with Twitter, when you've done Match of the Day on a Saturday night with Gary - the tweets you get after it, the people who can do better than you is amazing! People are nice all the time - but mainly it's a tool for people to have a go at me, and they do... I still go on it though!"
