If you are of a certain age, you will remember It, the scary horror movie based on a scary book by scary Stephen King, about a scary clown that turns into a scary spider at the end. It was scary.
Well, because it is 2017 and everything that was once beloved to us is now being repackaged and thrown back into our faces in HD and/or 3D, they’ve gone and done a remake.
The original 1990 TV-movie starred Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown, and this re-do plops Bill Skarsgård into his oversized shoes. It’s also being directed by Andrés Muschietti, who did 2013’s actually scary Mama, so it’s hopefully in safe hands.
Anyway, here’s the trailer:
Wooaahhh, creepy clown running at you in the basement – no thanks.
That bit where the kid bangs his head on the road sign was funny, though.
Anyway, it’s out in cinemas on 8 September, which coincidentally, is also Halloween – spooooooooky!
