You know those t-shirts of Julian Assange mocked up as Che Guevara you’ve been hankering for? Not too far away as it happens....
Possibly as a result of going stir crazy having been holed up in London’s Ecuadorian embassy since 2012, or possibly because he’s taken a page out of Jay-Z’s entrepreneurial book, WikiLeaks founder Assange is currently working on a ‘high-end fashion" collaboration between the notorious hacktivist group and an Indian clothing manufacturer.
The wares will be reportedly be sold in territories where the presence of WikiLeaks is highest, such as India, which according to WikiLeaks representative Olafur Vignir Sigurvinsson is “one of the countries where awareness about WikiLeaks is the highest and Julian is excited about the proposition."
Other sub-ranges mooted include household goods and accessories for the Indian markets. Here’s hoping they don’t design any umbrellas.
