It was the ultimate squeaky-clean kids TV show, with wholesome, loveable characters, and goofy storylines.
But the lid is about to lifted on what it was really like at Bayside High, with The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story about to hit TV screens.
Filming is under in Vancouver, with the movie, which focuses on the six then-unknown actors who played the main characters in the show, set to air on September 1st on Lifetime in the States.
The original series' casting director Robin Lippin has also picked the actors for this film; among those starring are Dylan Everett (Degrassi: The Next Generation - below) as Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Alyssa Lynch (The High Jumping Witch) as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen.
Given that Gosselaar at various points dated all three of his female co-stars, it should be compelling viewing.
