If you’re an Arsenal fan, take the day off work, turn off your phone and go back to bed. It’s just not worth it.
Expectations of the Gunners pulling off the most unlikely of comebacks following their 5-1 humbling in the Allianz Arena two weeks ago were already low, but even the most cynical fan would have been given brief hope when Theo Walcott opened the scoring after 20 minutes.
However, it was all over when Laurent Koscielny was sent off for the challenge that gave the Germans a penalty, which they converted, before running riot, to rack up another five goals and break the score graphic on BT Sport.
Needless to say, Twitter had a field day.
