Ex Machina
Starring the ever impressive Oscar Isaac as an inscrutable CEO of a major tech firm and Domhnall Gleeson as the wet-behind-the-ears coder who wins a competition to spend a week at the magnate’s secluded mountain mansion, it’s not long before the big boss introduces his protégée to real life artificial intelligence, beautifully packaged in Alicia Vikander.
Naturally, or else it wouldn’t be such a good sci-fi, things don’t run smoothly, and the youngster starts to develop feelings for the android who may be pitting the humans against one another to avoid being put in the trash for a new model.
