Three legends together

This video of James Brown, Michael Jackson & Prince on the same stage is insane

Clear you diary for the next five minutes, because things are about to get very funky indeed.

In the wake of the mortal exit of the legendary musician and all-round badass entertainer that was Prince, this incredible video has been going viral.

Filmed at a James Brown concert at the Beverley Theater in Los Angeles in 1983, it shows the original funk soul brother tearing it up on stage before spotting a 25-year-old Michael Jackson in the audience, inviting him up on stage. After Jacko does an outrageously amazing singing turn and busts a few moves, he then has a word in Brown's ear and insists that he also invite Prince up to join them.

After being carried to the stage on the shoulders of a security guard and blasting out a little bit of funky guitar, he then steals the show, taking his shirt off, toying with a microphone and generally looking like the coolest cat who ever set foot on the planet. Which, to be fair, he probably was.

Somewhere up in heaven, this trio are recreating this right now.
