Imagine for a second if Adidas and Nike, two trainer behemoths, came together in brilliant sneaker harmony. Delivering a pair of hyper-stylised kicks that would make even the most reluctantly loyal sneakerheads wet-eyed and shaking in excitement.
Well, according to the Canadian graphic artist Dead Dilly, it would look a little like this.
The series pulls together the Nike Air Yeezy II, Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, Flyknit technology, Ultra Boost, Sock Dart, Roshe One and a few other ‘three stripe’ silhouettes for a whole new Frankenstein shoe. Only, less monsterous and more brilliant.
Featured in the excellent ILS Magazine, you can check out the rest of Dead Dilly’s work here.
Let's hope that Nike and Adidas use McDonald's and Burger King's team-up as inspiration to bury the hatchet and make this happen.
