All dogs are good dogs, yes. We have established this.
But this one in particular: really very good dog.
This is General, a 10-year-old Great Pyrennes. He was having a mini holiday at the Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital in Virginia while his owners were on a holiday of their own. But General had other ideas: at four in the morning, he decided he wanted to ESCAPE.
And, as you can see, he did.
Using just his nose and mouth to open several doors, General managed to slip out of the hospital’s back doors.
There was a minor panic when hospital workers discovered General was missing, but he was quickly found curled up in a neighbourhood garden.
"He's a little Houdini," owner Travis Campbell told ABC7 News. "When it comes to doors, he can get a lot of doors open."
