Comme des Garçons brings a contemporary take on the ever-popular oud
For those who haven’t yet added an oud fragrance to their collection, this may be the one to sway you. Comme des Garçons has extracted the aromatic resin from trees in south-east Asia and framed it around Texas cedarwood and Australian sandalwood.
It’s tempered with other ingredients, such as earthy Haitian vetiver and Indonesian patchouli, giving the fragrance body and longevity. Fans of the brand’s Wonderwood scent will recognise crossovers but, unlike many oud fragrances, here it is not an overbearing centrepiece. In true Comme des Garçons style, Wonderoud is luxurious and on-trend, executed with style.
