Given the gazillion variations on the standard patty and bun combo we've seen over the past few years, you'd be forgiven for thinking that we'd come to a natural end of burger innovation.
You're wrong. Embarrassingly so.
The inventive team over at Philadelphia's PYT have gone and done it again. We've previously covered their lasagne burger, their spaghetti burger and their Sunday roast burger, to name but a few but this just might be the tastiest of them all.
Instead of a bun, something they actively seem to hate, they have used two tacos filled with cheddar, guacamole, salsa, jalapenos and lettuce instead. Then they went and wrapped the tacos in a second flour tortilla and added more cheese. These then serve as a home for the patty which is covered in taco spices, sour cream, coriander and more guacamole.
If you're in Philly anytime soon, FedEx us one yeah?
