It's National Grilled Cheese Day in the US tomorrow and to celebrate, one New York restaurant has decided to turn a comforting snack into an all-out monstrosity.
Hudson Common, a trendy midtown eatery, is serving a grilled cheese sandwich with lobster and salted caramel. The Salted Caramel Angry Lobster Fatty Melt, as it's officially called, contains cheddar curds, smoked ricotta, gouda, two more types of cheddar, fromage blanc (a form of cream cheese), butter milk with chili-chipotle lobster salad and a salted caramel drizzle.
It'll set you back $22 and it's only available for one whole week.
The rest of their menu is equally odd with peanut butter BBQ ribs, a pork katsu BLT and white truffle parmesan popcorn.
To put it mildly, we're feeling conflicted.
