After countless combos, numerous restarts and myriad attempts, 2015 finally saw Leonardo DiCaprio beat the biggest boss battle of his career, clinching an Oscar for his turn as Hugh Glass in The Revenant. 

Returning from an eight month hiatus, the retro-obsessed team of CineFix have returned to work their 8-bit magic on DiCaprio's triumphant flick, transforming the epic journey of Glass into a brutal RPG-tinged adventure. 

From the brutal bear encounter to the search for resources, the film lends itself perfectly to the "gamifying" process. We'd play it, but... we doubt we'd ever win.
