Grooming ranges, like high-end computers, continue to improve and become outdated at an astonishing rate.

It’s clearly something that’s bothered Nivea. When it first launched its revitalising skincare line for men (Revitalising Q10) it was the market leader, by virtue of being the only product claiming restorative morning powers. Since then, others have stated they’re able to work similar miracles.

In an attempt to restore its authority, Nivea has launched Skin Energy — a new line using creatine, guarana and taurine to boost the coenzyme Q10’s effects.

Comprising a face gel, face cream, cleanser, eye roll-on, shaving gel and post-shave balm (starting at £5.45), there are products to cover your entire regime. From the neck up, at least.
