'Why is America so robophobic?' that's the question Samuel L Jackson's Pat Novak asks in the new RoboCop trailer.
In the year 2028, it seems robots are the world's peacekeepers. Everywhere crime pops up, robots put it down. Everywhere, that is except America. So, in a bit to get the American people on side, evil corporate big wig Michael Keaton seeks to put a man inside the machine.
Enter Joel Kinnaman's police detective Alex Murphy who's blown up, then rescued by OmniCorp's shady technology.
Fans of the original film might not be happy with the car bomb scene replacing the classic warehouse fight that left Murphy in need of some mechanical aid, but there's still plenty here to get excited about, including the presence of Gary Oldman and Michael K Williams and lots and lots of explosions.
RoboCop is set to be released on February 7th, 2014
