The engine watch

Your wrist is nothing without it

The engine watch

Clock-watching can be a fairly addictive, if rather frustrating, pastime.

Glancing back and forth between your watch and whatever mind-numbing task you're hoping to complete, the lack of activity on your wrist is a constant source of disappointment.

Well, if you're ever lucky enough to be wearing the 2LMX watch then this wouldn't be a problem. The exposed timepiece gives you the opportunity to view every movement in stunning detail.

Only five watches are made every year although there is the possibility of having one custom designed. They're yet to release a price but you can check back at their official site for announcements.

You can see a video of it in action below:

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
