Just when you think you've seen it all in the crazy food stakes, along comes something truly groundbreaking.
Nick Chapman of food blog Dude Foods has created the deep fried KitKat grilled cheese sandwich, because why not? He began with two KitKat bars, coated in flour, egg and panko bread crumbs, deep fried for 45 seconds, to form the 'bun' of this sandwich. Two slices of cheese were placed between them, with the whole thing then fried in a pan.
Apparently, when the sandwich was cut in half, it stayed completely intact, allowing the intrepid Nick to eat it in an easy manner - and apparently it tasted great.
So next time you need a break, have a deep fried KitKat grilled cheese sandwich. And then maybe have a heart attack.
