The brand that invented the football boot is releasing new sneakers

If you’ve always admired the football boot but have pitch skills reminiscent of a new born Bambi, this might be your way in! Denmark brand and inventor of the original football boot, Hummel, is releasing a new collection of sports trainers inspired by their acclaimed back catalogue.

They’re best known for kitting out Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspurs after the inception of the football boot in 1923, and it looks like they could be returning to their glory days with their new Hummel Hive collection, featuring retro looking trainers and hi-tops in leather and suede textures in a vast number of colourways.

They’ll be priced between £80 and £150, and will be dropping 4 August from Foot Patrol and Hanon.
