Not since the days of Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards have we seen a watch that combines flight and sport so well.
Swiss watchmakers Bell & Ross have just launched the BR-X1, a high-tech chronograph with a sporty design. It's an extreme version of their BR-01, with the square design inspired by aeronautical flight instruments (not the Apple Watch).
A titanium and ceramic case features rubber inserts and toggle push buttons, 60 and 30-second timers - and it's strictly limited edition, with each of its 250 pieces featuring a unique engraving. You can always dedicate your one to Eddie, it's up to you.
Head over to Bell & Ross for more information, and have a look at the images below.

At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
