Grab the nearest pair of trainers (preferably your own). Stick you nose in them. Inhale.
Mercifully, the new shoe-inspired fragrance from Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals will smell nothing like that.
Following their ongoing sponsored_longform that's produced some of the most memorable-if-unusual trainers of recent years, Scott and the German sports brand are expanding their work to include a unisex perfume.
Designed by perfumers Philippe Roques and Maurice Roucel, the adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott' fragrance describes itself as having notes of "rose and Calabrian bergamot" with base tones of "white pepper, incense and cashmere". So it could double as a lamb tajine stock?
If the smell doesn't do it for you, the glass bottle probably will, drawing Scott's bold "Wings 2.0" high tops. Set to be as coveted as the trainers themselves, the fragrance will be limited to a run of 10,000, with a 75ml bottle set to cost around £75. Trainer-nuts will be able to get their hands on it from 1 February.
