Terrifying Moment Car Sinks After Rally Crash

Ever have one of those days? Well times it by ten and picture yourself driving a rally car right into a river, your windscreen cracking and water quickly flooding all around you as you scramble to get out of there.

This is the perilous scenario that met racing car driver Ott Tanak and his co-pilot Raigo Molder on a stretch of rocky incline on the Mexico leg of the FIA World Rally Championship. Rolling into disaster, the in-car camera captures the testosterone (and interior) soaked footage below.

Fortunately, both men are able to swim to safety before being pulled to the depths of the riverbed - though even so they'd still be mightily peeved at how the day turned out. The face on the doll between the pair says it all.

If you're a bit squeamish at crashes on the track, you might not enjoy watching this one off it.
