Just what is it about classic racing cars which makes them so cartoonishly alluring?
The droopy headlights? The fact we can only image someone like Steve McQueen wrapping his hands around the wheel of one? Or how about the fact they’re as much artwork as automobile?
Well here comes further reason to covet the curves of cars of yesteryear. Whipped up by Arthur Schening of Schening Creative, this series of illustrations really does accentuate the caricature-like qualities of vintage speed machines such as the Howmet TX, Shelby Daytona Coupe, Porsche 956 and Ferrari 121 LM.
Because nothing says ‘grown up’ like posters of race cars hanging on your wall.
