Global advertising company Saatchi and Saatchi have just revealed the adverts they made for the Remain campaign, which were ultimately never run.
It's not known officially why the campaign didn't showcase the adverts, but it's also not hard to guess. Although effective and emotive, the posters veer dangerously close to propaganda.
Saatchi and Saatchi released the adverts because of the historical importance of Brexit. "We never normally release work that we produced on behalf of a client but that hasn’t run," Moray MacLennan, worldwide chief executive of M&C Saatchi, said. "But this time is different. We are still emotionally engaged, the issue is – and will remain – of vital importance and it might help to air some of these ideas." Check the posters out below.
