Not so in the good old days: where bananas could make cars slide, hedgehogs could run at enormous speeds and Italian plumbers could jump 10 times their own height.
However, comedian Pete Holmes has decided to bring Mario and Luigi back down to earth by exploring what the real-life consequences of their various moves would be. Following on from their previous effort, they now present Mario going through a portal into an underwater world. Watch both below: the results are not pretty.
