A David Bowie mural has gone up in Sheffield and it isn’t going down well

People deal with grief in different ways. Some bottle it up, some shed endless tears... and some immortalise the dearly departed with paintings that resemble Pat Sharp wearing Kim Kardashian's make-up.

That, at least, seems to be the emotional reaction in a corner of Sheffield, where one graffiti artist has paid his respects to the late, great David Bowie with this mural.

The reaction? Er, not so good.

Unfortunately for the tribute's painter, the residents of Steel City, and now the rest of the country, are up-in-arms about the distinct lack of likeness to the legendary Life On Mars singer, taking to social media to tell the world exactly what they think.
