A couple of things you've hopefully noticed: 1) Britain has voted out of the EU, 2) People really, really like petitions.
Which is why it came as no surprise that after the British public voted 52 per cent to 48 per cent in favour of Brexit, a huge parliamentary petition sprung up along the lines of: "We didn't like democracy this time, please change it."
Over three million signatures later, however, and the petition is pretty big news. And you know what people do with big news, don't you? They mock, spoof, and parody to their heart's content.
