Capture a moment with Paul Smith’s new fragrance Portrait For Men
Inspired by his love of travel and photography, Paul Smith’s new fragrance, launched more than a decade after his first signature scent for men, is the designer’s most personal to date.
The result of a two-year collaboration between Sir Paul and new-generation perfumer Barnabé Fillion, Portrait For Men, available nationwide from 5 September, is a multi-faceted snapshot of the designer’s personal olfactory memories of his travel adventures around the world. The scent combines the same four key ingredients that are found in Portrait For Women (bergamot, cardamom, myrrh and tea) which can then be teamed with gender-specific notes such as cedarwood, tolu balm, geranium and pink pepper.
In an era where many modern masculine scents are not very distinctive, Portrait For Men stands tall by being unique and uplifting. Well worth those Air Miles, Mr Smith.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
