Oliver Sweeney's Bike-Inspired Footwear

Oliver Sweeney's Bike-Inspired Footwear
15 April 2013

Shoe-makers and accessories masters Oliver Sweeney have created a new footwear collection inspired by the humble bicycle.

The Compass range takes its design cues from the classic two-wheeler, such as cleverly including reinforcement patches on the ends for when you’re using toe clips and straps.

To ensure the shoes are even more bike-ride worthy, Oliver Sweeney sourced the most advanced soling material available, Polyolefin. The thick leathers, from British tanneries Charles F. Stead of Leeds and Claytons of Chesterfield, improve with age, instead of falling apart after you've clocked up a few miles.

We've got our eye on the brown with white lining pair, but they also come in dark blue and white.

Prices range start from £195, head to oliversweeney.com for the full range. They are also giving away one pair exclusively to Shortlist readers. Click here and enter your details to be in with a chance of winning.
