It looks like Nike are trying to say it with flowers. And by 'it', we mean urbanised sunshine from the ankles down.
This is the Blazer Floral collection: three bright, summer-filled designs that draw on the identities of three major US cities.
The Los Angeles pair nod to the region's flora and fauna: lush green growth offset by splashes of birds-of-paradise colours. The Chicago-inspired pair feature the city's official flower, chrysanthemums (but you obviously knew that), while the New York City set go for dandelions - "a symbolic reference to wishful thinking and the quick pace of the Big Apple’s city-streets", apparently.
They're a daring collection of prints, but partnered with a calming pair of black jeans and a quiet t-shirt and a set of these Blazer Florals could go down a treat. Released on 31 May, you'll have to go hunting for them at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
