Looking gracious, or dare we say snazzy, while riding a bike around the city is no easy feat.
Add all the sat-nav gadgets, carbon fiber frames or wicker baskets you like, you’re still dismounting at the office with a potent mixture of sweat and dirt lying underneath your helmet. So why not let some neat and cycling-friendly footwear enhance your stylishness instead?
You could opt for some of those streamlined clip-on shoes - all well and good for cutting up traffic to the office, but not so practical once you're on foot, are they? Or how about you go one better and invest in New Balance’s CM600C silhouette, a trainer designed with urban cyclists in mind and where rugged synthetic panelling meets a tough EVA midsole?
We thought as much. Moreover, even the toe cap comes with a speckled finish, giving the shoes a well camouflaged look for those smog-filled cycle sessions between home and the office; and with editions in yellow, grey, navy and black you might even have to buy a frame to match.
Talk about reasons to change gear.
The New Balance CM600C will be landing in select retailers this Spring
