We realise the end of last year was some months ago but masterpieces need time to be completed.
Case in point is artist extraordinaire Dave Williams, who has illustrated everyone single one of Lionel Messi's recording-breaking goals from last year.
Messi broke Gerd Müller's long-standing record of 85 goals in a calender year, after Barcelona's 2-1 win at Real Betis on December 9th 2012.
At that point, Messi had scored 86 goals in 66 matches compared to Müller's 85 goals in 60 games from 1972. However, Messi went on to score a further five goals, bringing the final total up to 91 goals.
